There are no 100% sustainable solutions, so what do we think

of when we talk about 

sustainable consumption?

On the one hand, we think about the resources involved throughout the product creation process, from design (designed to facilitate more sustainable production) to manufacturing (choosing local and national partners), distribution and all the elements that make up the packaging with recycled and recyclable materials.

We are not always able to access all the information about

a product or brand, but if we look for local and national products, brands with sustainable concerns, organic, eco-friendly products and ecological packaging, we are certainly contributing to a more conscious and sustainable choice.

As consumers, we have the power to choose the products we want to be part of our lives. Ultimately, we just need to think, for example, that if we all stop buying a certain product, it will cease to exist. So what we choose to buy moves the world in the direction we want ...

We hear almost every day that we are in a climate emergency, but we don't always get involved in this issue in our daily lives.

We can contribute to reducing our environmental footprint by avoiding food waste, giving preference to plant-based foods instead of animal

based foods, buying fruits/vegetables in bulk, thus promoting the local economy, reducing water consumption and refusing

disposable products, to name a few examples :)

Our strategy for more sustainable consumption consists of producing high-quality, durable and timeless products using fabrics certified according to environmental labels. Conventional cotton cultivation has a negative impact on the environment due to the chemicals used (which are dangerous to human and animal health) and the amount of water required to produce a textile item. Choosing organic cotton reduces the environmental impact. Another important issue is knowing how our clothing is dyed, as this process may or may not be ecological. Our products are produced by Portuguese companies certified by the OCS (Organic Content Standard) and the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), which guarantee that they are organic fabrics manufactured in an environmentally and socially responsible manner and that they certify products that contain 95 to 100% organic material.

Our production seeks to optimize the energy-saving process, reduce water consumption and, consequently, also reduce carbon emissions. In this way, we are able to eliminate all chemical and toxic products, ensuring a sustainable environmental cycle. In addition to the production process, we also care about the product's life cycle and, therefore, we proudly inform you that our textile products decompose without releasing any harmful substances into the environment.
